**About the role**
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a **Regular full-time Lead, Analyst** to join our dynamic **IT Internal Customer Experience** team.

The **IT Internal Customer Experience** team is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for internal users within Canadian Blood Services who interact with IT services and systems.

Reporting to the Manager, Data Governance, Quality & Standards, you will support the Enterprise Data Governance Program by developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework, strategies, policies, and processes. Your primary objective will be to ensure the accuracy, availability, integrity, and standardization of Canadian Blood Services data assets while complying with requirements and industry best practices.

**Formula for success**
- Leveraging your skills in collaboration and strategic planning, you will lead in the development and implementation of a robust data governance framework in partnership with other Canadian Blood Services portfolio leads, and in alignment with organizational objectives. This involves actively collaborating with the Manager to ensure a comprehensive and effective data governance framework is established.
- Utilizing your expertise, you will inform the design and lead in the documentation of governance stewardship, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility throughout its lifecycle.
- Harnessing your proficiency, you will implement data governance tools, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
- Drawing on your leadership skills, you will provide guidance to ensure standardized management of data governance operations. Act as a change agent to foster a data-driven culture that optimizes business results across the enterprise.
- Leveraging your ability to build relationships, you will develop connections with colleagues within the team and across the organization to understand business/operational activities, share information, and provide support in understanding business needs.
- Capitalizing on your strategic vision, you will lead the advancement and evolution of Canadian Blood Services’ Data & Analytics program and Centre of Excellence by supporting strategic analytic initiatives to help advise, influence, support, and execute decision-making in Canadian Blood Services strategic priority areas.

**Desired education and skills**
- Master’s Degree in Information/Data management, Health Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science or a recognized equivalent is an asset, an undergraduate degree in Information/Data Management, Health Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science or a recognized equivalent is required.
- Minimum 7 years of overall working experience with a minimum 2 years of experience in an information and data governance or data management role.
- Experience leading or supporting change management or strategic data initiatives.
- Exemplifies integrity, collaboration, adaptability, respect and excellence in every situation.
- An ability to drive to ‘big picture’ goals while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communications skills (writing and presentation) with wide appeal to varying internal audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
