**About the Opportunity**
The Provincial Harm Reduction Manager assists in the development, planning, and delivery of harm reduction, substance use, and wellness initiatives and programs for Métis communities in BC. The Manager collaborates with the Government, Health Authorities, and Aboriginal stakeholders and works closely with the Métis Nation B.C. Mental Health team to develop and coordinate mental health, harm reduction and research initiatives.

The Manager oversees the Substance Use and Addictions Program, the Métis Nation British Columbia Peer Outreach Worker program, and the Harm Reduction Education and Promotion Program. They also support the development of education programs and resources tailored to Métis culture, conduct research to enhance Métis wellness, ensure Naloxone training availability, and engage in necessary travel to connect with Métis Chartered Communities and attend stakeholder meetings. This role works in coordination with the Senior Director, Mental Health initiatives to foster positive change in Métis communities' mental health and wellness.

The Manager directly supervises the Program Lead, Substance Use and Harm Reduction, Harm Reduction Educator, and Provincial Harm Reduction Specialist. The Manager indirectly supervises the Peer Support Workers.
