**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental office personnel, ensuring high standards of patient care and service.
- Oversee scheduling of appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and mínimal wait times for patients.
- Handle budgeting and financial management tasks, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in human resources functions such as hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a dental office or medical office setting is required; experience in acute care or hospital environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred; ability to lead a team effectively is essential.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is necessary for efficient office management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff alike.
- A background in budgeting or financial management will be beneficial for this role.
