**Job Title**:National Accounts Manager
**Profile**:Kärcher Residential Solutions (a division of Alfred Kärcher Holdings., Inc.) is the US and Canadian consumer products arm of Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG, the leader in innovative cleaning technology and the largest manufacturer or pressure washers worldwide.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Builds sales through strong relationships and because of a thorough understanding of all facets of national and independent home improvement retailers, including buyers and other purchase influencers.
- Manages all activities associated with national and/or independent accounts to assure solid sales increases.
- Develops, implements, and manages account sales plans.
- Facilitates new business development as well as introduces new product categories, new item market development, and product launches.
- Communicates effectively both internally and externally to generate long-term sales growth, including working closely with product managers, marketing, and sales management.

**Education**
Bachelor’s degree.
**Experience**
- Eight (8) plus years of sales and sales management experience working with a manufacturer calling on national and/or independent home improvement retailers.
- Experience selling higher-end premium products (not commodities) for a market leader.
- Has a proven track record of success and driving sales growth.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Understands completely national and independent home improvement retailers.
- Knows how to expand a market through merchandising and pull programs rather than through price concessions.
- Possesses a strong desire and drive to double business in 3-4 years.
- Understands, appreciates, and exemplifies quality in all aspects of work.
- Is self-motivated and organized—requiring little direct supervision.
**Language Skills**
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
**Reasoning Skills**
- Strong reasoning, negotiating, and analytical skills.
