**Overview**
**Duties**
- Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food ordering, and staff scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and preparation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest satisfaction through exceptional culinary experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to promote a safe working environment.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Experience in restaurant management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices for food preparation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory; however, an understanding of beverage pairings is beneficial.
- A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development.
