Brit & Chips, the second location of The Burgundy Lion Group and premier Fish and Chips shop of Montreal, located in Old Montreal is looking for a kitchen supervisor with experience to join our team.

**Job description**
- As a supervisor at Brit & Chips your responsibilities may include:_
- Taking orders from the wait staff and preparing food according to customer preference
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order
- Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of foods
- Monitoring and managing staff
- Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients
- Setting up and closing the workstation
- Developing recipes that comply with company policy
- Maintaining the work environment clean

**Qualifications**
- Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of food preparation techniques
- Able to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and moving around
- Basic knowledge of mathematics to make correct measurements of ingredients
- Ability to follow recipe instructions

**Description de l'emploi**
- En tant que superviseur de cuisine au Brit & Chips, vos responsabilités vont inclure :_
- Prendre les commandes des serveurs et préparer la nourriture selon les préférences des clients
- Assurer un haut niveau de propreté et d'ordre
- Former le personnel à la préparation, à la cuisson et à la manipulation des aliments
- Surveillance et gestion du personnel
- Surveillance et gestion des ustensiles de cuisine et des ingrédients
- Ouverture et fermeture du poste de travail
- Élaboration de recettes conformes à la politique de l'entreprise
- Maintenir l'environnement de travail propre

**Qualifications**
- Expérience dans l'utilisation de différents outils, équipements et ustensiles de cuisine
- Solides compétences en communication, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral
- Compréhension des techniques de préparation des aliments
- Capable de supporter de longues heures debout, penché et se déplaçant
- Connaissance de base des mathématiques pour effectuer des mesures correctes des ingrédients
- Capacité à suivre les instructions de la recette
