Title Search Clerk

confident self-starter who works well independently and is ready to show us what they can bring to the team and Firm. This role reports to the Senior Director Paraprofessionals and will work under the supervision of the lawyers in the Real Estate group.
Hours of work are from 9 am to 5 pm. Occasional pre-authorized overtime may be required to meet client needs. This position offers hybrid work arrangements.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Conduct full searches of Ontario real property titles in the Land Titles and Registry systems, in both electronic and non-electronic format.
- Analyse information and prepare detailed, in-depth and organized reports of title search results capturing all relevant title information and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
- Conduct searches in other Canadian jurisdictions.
- Analyse historical title information, including preparation of chains of title.
- Assist with the preparation and review of both Electronic and Paper Documents
- Work with other Departments to assist with Title related Matters
**Required Knowledge and Experience**
- A college diploma or equivalent work experience
- An excellent working knowledge of Teraview and the requirements of Teraview with respect to title and conveyancing matters
- 5-7 years of experience with both the land titles and land registry systems and want to learn more in-depth skills
- An in-depth understanding of business and legal terminology.
