**The Opportunity**:
As an Accounts Receivable and Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for providing integral support to the order processing and accounts receivable cycle as part of a fast-paced and global-oriented finance department. Reporting to the AR Manager, Finance, you will own accountability in order processing and invoicing, customer credit analysis, monthly commission calculations, and other monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting.

**The Job**:

- Perform pre-sales credit risk evaluations, including financial statement analysis, D&B reporting and data obtained from banks and trade references
- Perform regular review of customer credit for pending sales, and provide communication to sales team on any credit issues
- Perform order review and processing tasks, including quote, purchase order and contract validation, ERP system review and revenue recognition, order set-up and review
- Responsible for preparing sales invoices for products and services, and being the first point of contact for invoice inquiries, and resolution of any issues
- On a monthly basis, calculate sales commissions, post related journals and perform account reconciliation related to commissions
- Provide assistance to the collections specialist for investigating any invoice issues, and providing support on collections related matters
- Calculation and reporting of US sales tax
- Perform monthly reconciliations of AR, GL and sub ledger accounts
- Verify and post accounts receivable journal entries including processing credit notes and reviewing account adjustments
- Complete ad hoc customer and receivable analysis as required, and monthly account reconciliations

**What Skills You Bring**:

- 2+ years of relevant experience with Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business
- SAP and SalesForce experience an asset
- Detail oriented and delivers high quality work
- Have a strong work ethic and takes initiative
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, specifically Excel
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and work within tight deadlines and meet deliverables
- Relationship building and management with both internal and external contacts
