Looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We’re currently recruiting for a **Corporate Project Leader **to join our rapidly growing team.

**What you do**: This position will be reporting to the Director of Project Management. As a critical thinker with a growth & results-focused mindset. This role requires dedicated focus on the design and construction aspect of the business, & to a strategic thinker who can bring in significant cost saving ideas to the table. In this position you will be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. This role will ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

**In this role you will be expected to**:

- Oversee all aspects of construction projects (new builds and upgrades) across Canada and US from pre-construction to project close-out.
- Communicate progress of construction activities with the management frequently.
- Establishes and maintains a list of qualified third-party partners (designers, contractors, etc.).
- Build Know-How of new and existing franchisees in managing third party consultants in the permitting and construction process for new store openings and remodels
- Be aware of latest project management techniques and introduce where relevant.
- Maintain accurate and consistent files and documentation for all projects and assignments.
- Develop strategy and guidelines for processes relating to Upgrades, Remodels, Construction and Design
- Act as a communication champion by supporting the Project management team with the creation of project trackers and presentations for the Leadership team.
- Drive cost management efforts to improve investment paybacks thru value engineering efforts, and facilitating build cost improvement workshops.
- Budget management
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Who you are**:

- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitasking skills
- Experience with _**AutoCAD **_and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
- Experience on commercial construction
- Experience in negotiating with contractors and suppliers
- Engineering or Architecture bachelor’s degree considered an asset
- _**Building Code**_ knowledge considered an asset
- Familiarity with _**mechanical and electrical systems**_
