Located in Barrie and reporting to the Manager, Talent Management and Organizational Development, this role is responsible for the overall administration of employee engagement initiatives and programs for Georgian College. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Supporting the administration and activities of the employee engagement, pulse surveys and 360 reviews
- Coordinating the new hire survey, exit survey and other employees’ surveys to improve the employee experience at Georgian.
- Conducting new employee orientation and employee onboarding initiatives for the college
- Planning events for Georgian’s annual week of professional development and other employee engagement events
- Collaborating and consulting with internal departments on employee engagement initiatives and programs
- Developing and distributing employee engagement communications in a variety of formats
- Responding to staff and manager inquiries regarding engagement initiatives and programs (training records and training needs)
- Planning and organizing employee engagement and employee recognition events for employees.
- Administering Employee Tuition Assistance Program, International Experience Program and other employee programs
- Maintaining the content of Learning and Development employee portal and web page
- Supporting the design and development of online learning programs using articulate 360 and a variety of other software
- Completing administrative duties related to Learning and Development including billing and invoicing.
- Promoting tuition programs and the onboarding experience
- Attending department meetings for promotion purposes
- Develop one on one education plans

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Successfully completed a 3-year degree/diploma in a relevant field of study that may include but is not limited to human resources.
- Minimum three years of related, progressive experience
- Experienced in coordinating employee events and training programs
- Advanced technology skills including presentation software as well as the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience with project management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information on engagement programs and needs in a concise and logical manner; draft written communications and create/deliver presentations
- Proven interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop / maintain relationships
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented, with demonstrated experience coordinating and executing activities and events.
