***What is the Role?**
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the operations department. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Supervisor will also be responsible for developing and implementing new operational procedures and policies.
***What You’ll Do?**
The **Operations Supervisor** is responsible for:
- Overseeing and coordinating various operational elements of our business. This includes health & safety; manufacturing; distribution functions; inventory management; and logistics.
- Planning, scheduling, and directing work.
- Tracking and reporting performance goals.
- Maintaining equipment and the facility.
- Monitoring associate performance and safety.
- Ensuring that company policies and procedures are practiced.
**Objectives**
- To ensure that all operations are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
- To oversee, in conjunction with the operations team, the day to day running of the operations department.
- To liaise with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations.
- To develop and implement operational procedures.
- To monitor performance against KPIs and take corrective action where necessary.
- To allocate resources and manpower as required.
- To provide leadership and motivation to the team.
**Who You Are?**
- We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 5 or more years of successful supervisory or management experience in a distribution warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- A bachelor or associates degree in a related field would be an asset.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Possess a “can-do” attitude and approach.
- Track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Track record of successfully collaborating with team members & customers.
- Experience collaborating with various areas within an organization.
- Lean experience and credentials (e.g., yellow belt)
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
