**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Director and Medical Director of Mental Health & Addictions (MH&A) Services, the Department of Psychiatry, Program Manager(s)of MH&A Inpatient & Adult Outpatient Programs, and numerous MH&A committees. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant serves as the Coordinator of PRHC-Mental Health & Addictions tele video/webcast services for the mental health and addictions department.

The incumbent must be able to support and contribute to day-to-day functioning within MH&A as well as contribute to strategic visioning and planning. This includes the ability to communicate with others at varying levels and positions in the organization, develop relationships within PRHC and externally with community partners, demonstrate analytical and conceptual skills, creativity and insight, and provide leadership as appropriate. Additionally, this position acts as a resource to the MH&A department, in that the incumbent will respond appropriately to departmental requests and inquiries and/or forward to others as indicated/when required.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- College Diploma in Office Administration and three years’ experience as an executive secretary/administrative assistant or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
