**Position Summary (Healthcare Specific)**:
As a successful IT Support Specialist, you are responsible for the stable operation of the IT systems and peripherals, including installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization, as well as provide technical assistance, direction and training across various system environments. In this hands-on role, you will support both internal on-site and off-site locations and staff. This position may require travel within Ontario from time to time.

**Required Skills**:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components;
- Monitors all backups, maintaining data on-site and off-site as determined by SyS Creations and client requirements, and perform regular tests;
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including services packs, patches, firmware, hot fixes and security configurations;
- Ensure network connectivity of all systems including workstations, servers, printers, and other devices;
- Provide on-call support, as required; comfortable working at client sites; provide technical consulting and advice to clients as requested;

**Essential Job Requirements & Experience**:

- Minimum (1) years of hands-on experience with network & system capacity planning, security principles, and general management best practices in a medium to large enterprise environment in healthcare.
- **G2 or G Required**:

- Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, including Cisco IOS, Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and communicate them effectively to others;
- Knowledge of various software - including Microsoft Office, Visio, SQL, Office 365, Skype for Business, Exchange, Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrated communication, problem solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills;
- Strong documentation skills and installation scopes, and workflows.
- Self-motivated, positive, and able to focus on delivering ‘On Spec, On Time, On Budget’
- **Bonus: Kroll experience, LTC Homes & Pharmacy experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
