**Responsibilities**:

- Develop efficient production schedules based on work orders or customer requests, expected delivery dates, plant personnel and equipment capabilities, and inventory availability;
- Make adjustments in production schedules based on changing conditions in production process, manpower, material shortage, delayed deliveries and quality issues;
- Determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues;
- Work in close collaboration with the sales, customer service, production, and purchasing staff in a timely and efficient manner;
- Evaluate the feasibility and the ESD for custom requests;
- Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to develop and maintain scheduling parameters, adequate materials

stock and/or reduce inventory level;
- Generate production reports to Managers for decision making purposes;
- Evaluate the impact of design changes on inventory levels and obsolescence.

**qualifications and experience required**:

- Undergraduate university degree (BAC) or experience in a similar position;
- Six Sigma or Lean certification is an asset;
- Be comfortable with problem solving and continuous improvement tools;
- Have a good knowledge of process mapping;
- Demonstrate rigor and a strong sense of organization;
- Have good communication skills and a team spirit and a sense of collaboration developed;
- Be customer and results oriented;
- Have a good capacity for analysis and synthesis;
- Demonstrate autonomy, proactivity and openness to change;
- To be able to carry out several files in parallel;
- Fluency in both spoken and written French and English;
- Having excellence in customer service as a priority and value.
