**YOUR ROLE**

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate daily with our domestic carriers and sales teams to coordinate deliveries, handle troubleshooting and stakeholder escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist/lead special projects, such as lead time and cost optimization analysis.
- Monitor carrier KPIs using reporting tools (mainly Excel based) and report on carrier performance to your Director and other interested parties.
- Contribute to increasing the efficiency and productivity of the Transportation team (continous improvement projects, update SOPs, etc.)
- Collaborate in/support x-departmental initiatives (DC, eComm Ops, Store Ops, Inventory, Distribution, etc.
- Communicate with freight forwarders to coordinate ocean/air shipments into North America.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation of supplier pickups.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation of wholesale shipments.
- Coordinate seamless transportation for store opening/closures/renovations.
- Identify areas of development within the Transportation department and suggest process improvements.

**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.Sc., BComm., etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills to progress on multiple tasks/projects at once, and provide quick turnaround on stakeholder inquiries
- Detail oriented and comfortable with data manipulation (strong proficiency in Excel is required)
- Strong critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement
- Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) information, requirements, expectations and updates to a wide range of individuals.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Agile working style
