Our Corporate Services Segment** **team has an exciting new opportunity to join the Sodexo team as our next** Facility Coordinator.**

**Accountabilities**:

- Perform maintenance work and minor repairs as well as some administrative tasks associated with operation of a commercial property
- Plan work assignments, perform duties with mínimal direct supervision, and assist as a helper in the general maintenance and operation of the buildings
- Ensure follow-up with regards to service-request and work orders that are open/closed
- Coordinate, assist and accompany skilled trade workers and subcontractors/vendors to perform work at the buildings
- Work physically on-site during normal office hours for total of 40 hrs/week and participate in the on-call/call-in rotation (respond to afterhours emergencies when required)
- Split time on-site between a couple of buildings
- Identify and correct unsafe working conditions with management oversight
- Assist with special events as required
- Train and coordinate a back-up for vacation, sick-day and on-call coverage
- Work with hand tools, power tools and have the ability to perform labor-intensive duties including lifting up to 50 lbs safely, and the ability to climb stairs/ladders as part of daily activities
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Perform all work in accordance with municipal/provincial/federal regulatory requirements
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments

**Qualifications**:
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Operational knowledge of building systems is ideal
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to learn new software programs.
- Ability to effectively manage diverse relationships with team members, contractors, building occupants and clients
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
