- **Communication**: Excellent communication abilities to clearly convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with financial software and Advanced Excel is needed to oversee financial reporting and analysis.
- **Education**: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

**About the Role**:
We're on the lookout for a Senior Financial Controller to lead our finance operations with a focus on our consumer loans portfolio. This pivotal role combines the rigor of financial control with the insightfulness of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tailored to the unique environment of financial services. You'll be at the helm of ensuring financial integrity, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and guiding financial strategy to support our growth and compliance in the consumer loans sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Oversight & Control**: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and budget preparation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- **Operational Management**: Streamline accounting processes and systems for efficiency and reliability. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure smooth financial operations.
- **Strategic Planning & Analysis**: Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis efforts to support business decisions. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and growth.
- **Team Leadership**: Direct a dedicated team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Communicate financial insights and risks effectively with senior executives, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- **Regulatory Compliance & Reporting**: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining impeccable financial and operational integrity.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
