Port Hope, Canada Revolver Screening Systems Full time

**Company background**:
Revolver Screening Systems (RSS) is a construction equipment manufacturing and sales company located in Port Hope, Ontario. RSS also has another facility located in Guelph, Ontario.

RSS manufactures and distributes portable trommel screening plants and conveyors to be shipped to and sold through a network of dealers all across North America.

**Position description**:
We have an immediate full-time position available for an experienced service representative for after sales service field work and in-house equipment repairs and maintenance. This position would support another full-time employee currently in a similar role. In addition to after sales service, the service representative is expected to complete other labour tasks associated with shipping and receiving spare parts and general maintenance around the shop in Port Hope and, on occasion, in Guelph. The service representative will be expected to travel to job sites within Canada and the United States to set up or service RSS equipment. The applicant must be in good standing to travel between Canada and the United States.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and conduct maintenance inspection and repairs on RSS equipment.
- Test, diagnose and repair RSS trommel screening plants and stackers, as well as our in house equipment - forklifts, loaders, skid steers and service vehicles.
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in shop and equipment areas.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Complete maintenance reports, work orders and any other required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
- Load and unload shipments of RSS equipment and spare parts.
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing and spare parts departments on a daily basis.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.
- Contact customers, dealers and service departments to understand and diagnose equipment issues and propose troubleshooting actions.
- Regular travel to customer and dealer job sites to set up and service plants located throughout Canada and the United States.
- In-house service work.
- Represent RSS in a professional matter during direct customer and dealer contact.

**Skills, Qualifications & Requirements**:

- “Hands on” mechanical background.
- Speak, read and write English.
- Experience with aggregate producing equipment is preferred, but not essential.
- Other than RSS-related specialty equipment, must have own tools.
- Practical and concise organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, truckers and co-workers.
- Problem-solving, organization and time-management skills as well as the ability to prioritize work.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Forklift and wheel-loader experience is preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift and perform other labour tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments with various weather conditions.

**Work Conditions**:

- Work on and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and in some cases carry out strenuous physical tasks.
- Must be able to step up and down into truck, sit, kneel, reach, bend, and climb ladders.
- Flexible working hours including occasional evening and weekend hours based on customer needs.

**Compensation**:
90-day probationary hourly rate then yearly salary to be discussed depending on experience.

**Other Notes**:

- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- A service truck will be supplied for travel to and from job sites.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per hour
