M&a - Business Development

We are looking for an **M&A-Business Development. **This professional will be responsible for identifying suitable acquisitions targets within our selected markets. A key partner on acquisitions with significant visibility and interaction with senior-level management.
**The Role**:
- Building a pipeline of software companies, within our selected markets, who may be interested in selling their business now or in the future
- Contacting software business owners/leaders and engaging in meaningful high-level discussions which will lead to an eventual acquisition transaction
- Nurturing relationships over time and following up systematically to enhance our participation in future sales processes
- Effectively performing the initial qualification of the target company to ensure it meets our acquisition criteria
- Management reporting on the M & A business development activities
**What you bring**:
- 2 - 3 years of sales/marketing/business development experience within the high-tech/software industry (preferably), effectively building a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Undergraduate degree in a business-related field
- Financial and analytical acumen
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, results-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Professional, self-confident, independent, self-starter, comfortable reaching out and communicating with C-level and senior management
- Working knowledge of Salesforce - CRM
