**Position Title**: Operations Manager
**Status**: Full-Time Admin
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week
**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness, Continuous Professional Learning
**Campus/Location**:North Campus
**Minimum Starting Salary**:$93,705; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

**About the Operations Manager Role**:
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Continuous Professional Learning (CPL), the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall administration, development, and support services delivery for the CPL department within the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness, ensuring efficiency and timeliness. Key responsibilities include budgeting, people management, and project management for the City Wide Training project. The role involves proposal writing, program development and review, program research, and program advising. Additionally, the Operations Manager oversees human resources activities, including supervision and management of staff, and coordinates IT responsibilities within the department (such as Banner and LLEE). The position is also responsible for managing work-integrated system operations and requirements, program and course management (including website maintenance and marketing), source revenue-generating opportunities, event coordination and execution, coordinating procurement processes for materials to support office functions, and overseeing customer service management.

**Education**

University Degree or Higher Degree in a related discipline.

**Experience/Skills**
- 7 years of relevant administrative/supervisory work experience
- Proven ability to identify and implement improvements in day-to-day operations for both staff and learners.
- Effective communication skills to provide clear guidance on departmental processes.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality programming, and exceptional customer service.
- Experience in budget management and tracking expenditures.
- Leadership experience in managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Expertise in program research, development, and continuous improvement
