Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the position will develop and maintain all communications across all assets of The Armour Group Limited portfolio, including home office, hotels, restaurants, corporate and retail tenants, and residents. They will play a pivotal cross-functional role, ensuring that key messages are delivered in a timely and accurate fashion while maintaining and reinforcing the company’s core values and mission
**Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm, in-office**
**As an Internal Communications Specialist, You'll get to**:
**Internal Communications Management**:
- Oversee and manage the internal SharePoint system to ensure effective communication across all assets.
- Maintain a monthly communications schedule for the Queen's Marque district, keeping employees, residents, and district tenants informed about events and updates.
- Update and maintain information screens at hotels and residences with relevant and engaging content.
- Draft communication pieces for both internal and external audiences, including memos, handbooks, announcements, etc.
**Editing & Proofreading**:
- Proofread and edit content for websites, press releases, and other communications materials.
- Maintain and update employee handbooks to ensure they are current and comprehensive.
**Reputation Management**:
- Monitor and report on the company’s digital presence, providing insights and recommendations on aligning messaging to company goals and objectives.
- Shape, celebrate and communicate internal successes, sponsorships, and charitable giving efforts.
**HR Support**:
- Support HR with messaging around recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Support HR with events, including scholarship program, long service awards, and hiring fairs.
**Website & Contract Management**:
- Assist with basic web updates and monitoring to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts and internal organizational tasks.

- Contribute to the development and rollout of the company mission and core values.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience, in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal communications or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using SharePoint and other internal communication tools.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic web updates.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to target copy to relevant audiences, adjusting tone as required.
- Experience in developing and maintaining internal communication schedules.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for effective communication.
