**Children's Hospital**

Reporting to the Director(s) of Children's Hospital, the Quality Improvement Facilitator (QIF) is responsible for the preparation, submission and evaluation of Children’s Hospitals Quality Improvement priorities, as indicated by the Children’s Hospital Quality, Performance and Safety Committee CH-QPSC. The QIF works closely with leaders and the interdisciplinary teams to ensure Children’s Hospital is delivering the results planned at the beginning of the fiscal year. The QIF is also accountable to report the quality improvement plan progress to the CH-QPSC and the Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis to ensure that the Board and Senior Leadership Team are well informed of the QIP progress

As part of the quarterly performance reporting process the QIF will also analyze and report on a variety of quality, patient safety and patient experience indicators to assess quality of care. The QIF is accountable to prepare the quarterly performance report for the CH-QPSC, in collaboration with other QIF’s where needed.
- Status: Regular Full-Time
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
- Rate of Pay: $40.27 - $50.34 per hour

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring**:

- Successful completion of Bachelor degree in Health/Business Administration or heath related field
- Minimum 2 years experience required
- Successful completed of Lean/Six Sigma certification is preferred
- Project Management Certification is preferred
- Knowledge and skill working with data related aspects of performance management
- Knowledge and understanding of quality improvement concepts with emphasis on systems improvement, continuous quality improvement
- Knowledge of clinical processes within the hospital setting; experience with a clinical performance measurement system and knowledge of quality improvement aspects of performance measurement
- Knowledge of industry best practices, benchmarks and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of applicable and prevailing legislation and their impact on health care
- Demonstrated understanding and compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Change leadership skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a working member of a team
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of productivity tools such as MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Immunization Requirements**:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
