**Role Summary**:
A Formations **Delivery Driver** works in a dynamic and multifaceted environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Foreman and / or General Manager, the Delivery Driver has large truck operating experience, a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to change. This role will also require good judgement and addressing customers with professionalism and understand the importance of the safety of others at the workplace and on the road. This role will require deliveries to Kelowna once per week and Vancouver Island, Squamish, and Whistler when applicable. Possible overnight stays in Kelowna may be required depending on workload.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs daily truck inspections at the beginning of shift; daily inspections
- Delivering product to customer premises inside and outside city limits
- Delivering from Vancouver to Kelowna once per week, at times the trip will be overnight depending on workload
- Delivering to Vancouver Island, Squamish, and Whistler when applicable.
- Reports to customer’s receiving office to drop off paperwork and waits to be unloaded
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Stops at weight scales where applicable and follows the correct procedure
- Ensures products are loaded in accordance with delivery schedule and truck capacity
- Ensure cleanness of truck and complies with truck maintenance schedule to ensure the correct operation of their assigned delivery truck
- Assists during inventory counts
- Exceptional customer service skills required and good business etiquette
- Exercises best OHS practices such as daily truck inspections and observes safety driving rules

**Job requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a large truck (up to 5 ton) with both manual and automatic transmissions in short and long distance
- Hold at least a class 3 with Airbrake drivers’ license with a clean driving record
- Drivers must be at least 18 years of age to obtain a Class 3 license, and at least 19 to obtain a Class 1 license.
- Must be able to provide a drivers abstract
- Regularly required to walk; stand; sit; climb ladders with the ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull and reach above and below the waist
- Self-motivated and driven to continuously improve and add value to the organization
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
- Working knowledge of good OH&S practices is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have excellent driving skills, good judgment, an ability to remain focused for extended periods of time and to react quickly in emergency situations
- Fork Lift Experience
