The Industrial Products Division develops sealing, bonding and protection solutions for the railway, automotive, truck, industrial body and other OEM markets, windshield replacement, shipbuilding, appliances and equipment, fenestration, etc. Sika Canada has regional offices and industrial sites in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia and employs over 650 people in Canada. Sika Canada Inc. is looking for a new **Vice President, Industry **to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area or Montreal Area and reporting to the President, Automotive & Industry Americas.

Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of the Business Unite programs for Canadian Industry OEM and Tier accounts; insure all activities are consistent with and meet the Business Unit overall sales, growth, margin, and profit objectives; develop and optimize opportunities for growth; support Program Management directly and through Key Account managers.

**What does the role involve?**
- Develop annual and three-year strategic sales plans for Canadian OEM customer accounts in accordance with the Industry’s Unit’s sales and profit objectives; assist in the development of annual budget and action plans for assigned accounts; recommend and execute agreed-upon sales strategy and marketing plan/programs according to annual budget and three year plan to meet sales, growth, margin and profit objectives.
- Recommend and implement opportunities for growth through new products in existing markets, existing products in new markets, and new products in new markets
- Achieve sales goals, C2 objectives and growth objectives on an annual basis for assigned accounts based on coordinated and targeted action plans, pricing, and product mix strategies, and effective control of sales expense budgets
- Manage and implement sales activities to achieve sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts
- Assist marketing in developing marketing plans and strategies for assigned accounts
- Recommend, develop, and communicate sales policies and procedures to sales personnel
- Manage employee performance planning and review process for assigned sales personnel; identify and provide opportunities for personal career growth planning and development
- Establish and maintain key industry contacts and trade relations
- Manage, develop, and motivate assigned Key Account Managers in day-to-day sales activities to achieve budgeted expense in assigned accounts and to prepare them to assume higher level sales responsibilities
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably engineering or business field
- Three to five years in managerial positions directly within the automotive OEM market
- Must have proven record of creativity, innovation, sales growth, and significant achievement.
- Career advancement may require domestic and/or global mobility.
