**Tire Fitter**

Summit Truck & Equipment Repair, a proud Sutherland Group company, is currently seeking a Tire Fitter to join our team in Salmo BC. We are a commercial transport and equipment repair facility in the heart of the amazing West Kootenays. This position is open to anyone with a desire to work, learn and take their first steps in a rewarding career in an essential industry.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform tire removal, installation, and repairs for all OTR vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installing repaired or replacement tires and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow work order procedures and communicate with Lead Hand re the work that is required
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player who is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Committed to safe work practices
- Exemplary customer service skills
