We are looking for a Wash Bay Attendant - Summer Student to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in Salmo BC. 4 on (Thu-Sun) / 3 off (Mon-Wed) rotation with 10 hour day shifts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wash tractors, trailers and heavy equipment Operate a pick-up truck and tow the mobile washing unit trailer Perform general labour duties around worksite Maintain the cleanliness and organization of shop Be a team player who is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed
Follow work order procedures and communicate with Lead Hand re the work that is required Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the Summit Truck and Equipment Repair team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

Enrolled in a post -secondary education program Positive attitude and willingness to learn Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
Ability to travel between multiple work locations in Salmo and Castlegar Willing and able to work in all weather conditions Commitment to safe work practices Exemplary customer service skills
