Gas Station Manager

**About us**

The Salmo Pump is a family owned Esso gas station located in Salmo, BC.

**Duties**:

- Oversee daily operations of the station, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency
- Manage and coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including stock replenishment and ordering
- Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, and report generation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization of the station
- Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they are equipped with necessary skills
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize station performance

**Requirements**:

- Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and managing financial records
- Knowledge of the local market to make informed decisions regarding stock levels and pricing
- Excellent administrative skills for managing paperwork, schedules, and reports
- Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and station cleanliness
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and complaints

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
