Accounting Specialist Group Retirement Services

**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- **What you will do**
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting through completion of financial transactions, reconciliations, journal entries and related investigations. Complete daily and weekly follow-up on outstanding items
- Drives resolution of outstanding items while overcoming obstacles. Communicate issues to Associate Manager
- Maintains key summary processes that assist in greenlighting financial runs
- Assists junior team members with workload, training, and guidance
- Exposure to IFRS17 accounting
- Collaboratively work environment across teams, locations and levels

**What you will bring**
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience
- Education/skills acquired through completion of a post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to manage multiple demands while working to strict deadlines
- Strong critical thinking skills, problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- High degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP, FSCD...)
- Self-starter, team-oriented, and able to work with limited direction
- Professional and approachable with an emphasis on collaborative working relationships
- The base salary for this position is between **$41,400****:

- $62,100** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
