**Position Overview**:
As an Estimating Coordinator at MCM 2001 Inc., you will play a crucial role in the pre-production phase of our projects. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for custom millwork projects, ensuring that our clients receive competitive pricing while maintaining profitability for the company. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication with internal and client teams. **Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Project Assessment**: Review architectural plans, specifications, and client requirements to understand the scope of the custom millwork project.

2. **Estimation**: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.

3. **Material Sourcing**: Identify and source appropriate materials and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

4. **Data Analysis**: Analyze historical data and industry trends to develop pricing models and determine competitive pricing strategies.

5. **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Sales, Design, and Production teams to gather information and ensure alignment on project requirements.

6. **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, including materials lists, labor hours, and cost breakdowns.

7. **Client Communication**:Communicate with clients to clarify project details, answer questions, and address concerns related to estimates.

8. **Bid Preparation**: Propose and prepare bid proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and timelines. Utilizing ERP and estimating software.

9. **Cost Control**: Monitor project costs throughout the production process, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to the project team/

10. **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry best practices, cost-effective materials, and emerging trends in millwork manufacturing.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with millwork and metalwork is a huge asset.
- Must be computer literate
- Have some exposure to the ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of millwork materials, techniques, and production processes is a plus.

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
