The hours will be as follows: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
10:00 am - 7:00 pm on Friday.
Flexibility will be required as the hours of work will change.

**Start Date**:December 11, 2023

**The Opportunity**:
The Education Manager will ensure effective educational delivery to all international students on campus.
Effectively onboard and retain students through the implementation and management of quality customer service, quality instructional delivery, career placement systems and procedures.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Hire, train, and mentor direct reports.
- Provide input and assistance to corporate and other staff (non-direct reports), in the interest of overall corporate growth and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in all aspects for program delivery and ensure education is delivered within the guidelines of the Quality Assurance Framework.
- Ensure that the educational, physical, social, and special needs of students are met wherever possible.
- Ensure that programs follow the established sequence of courses and exam timetables and that students graduate and complete diploma and certification exams to meet corporate graduate and placement standards.
- Assist the Campus Director with instructor scheduling and professional development.
- Audit the quality of classroom instruction.
- Review Quality Assurance Surveys and initiate corrective or improvement actions.
- Manage attendance of instructors and find replacements for instructors who call in sick or have emergencies.
- Develop an understanding of all international student diploma and certificate program contents, courses, and exams.
- Oversee and ensure that all attendance and grade reporting is completed and approved on time.
- Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.

**What you bring to the position**:

- Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study.
- Five (5) years combined management and administrative experience in a comparable educational environment.
- Knowledge of sales and customer service issues.
- Experience working with accounting, budgeting, and financial statements.
- Knowledge of instructional techniques (teaching experience an asset).
- Knowledge of educational delivery to international students.
- Knowledge of government regulatory climate of education in Ontario.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
