We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver to support our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely transport of laboratory samples from collection sites to our laboratory testing facilities, ensuring that all specimens are handled under strict safety and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for following established protocols to maintain the integrity of samples, properly documenting deliveries, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. Your commitment to timely execution and thorough communication with laboratory personnel will directly impact patient care and diagnostic accuracy. **Description**:
As a Transportation Service Representative, your role will be to deliver and pick up a range of products including, but not limited to, mail, specimens, lab supplies, mail, and blood products to and from Rapid Response Labs, Patient Care Centres, and client offices in a timely manner and according to an established routine, in accordance with APL standards, regulations and policies. Working independently, you must use appropriate storage methods to maintain integrity of cargo. You must adhere to all safe driving regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures. Maintenance of vehicles as well as coolers and transport boxes is also involved.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Previous experience will be reviewed for consideration as per HSAA article 15 of the collective agreement. These are casual positions (Varies). Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and transport specimen and equipment as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver and or previous courier role is an asset.
