**PATIENT ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION SPECIALIST / **CLINICAL COUNSELOR | LASIK MD Waterloo**

**Your tasks at a glance**
- You present treatment options to prospective patients.
- You provide accurate information to patients regarding surgery, pricing, and scheduling.
- You manage and address patient questions accurately, concisely, and in a timely manner.
- You help meet patients' needs by consulting, reassuring, and scheduling follow-ups.
- You could be cross-trained for other positions such as Surgical Assistant, Receptionist, etc.
**A clear view of your assets**
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- You are comfortable using computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, EMR systems, etc.).
- You have a broad background in customer service or retention in a relevant industry such as cosmetics, retail, banking, insurance, travel sales, restaurants, gyms, etc.
- You have the desire to succeed and are a results-oriented person familiar with customer follow-up techniques.
- You are organized, self-disciplined, and have excellent prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- ** Schedule**: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8:15 am*-4:30 pm & Tuesday 10:30 am*-7:30 pm, as well as occasional Saturdays.
- Once a week, your shift will run from 6:45 am to the end of the surgery day.
