**About the Role**

Willowglen Systems is looking for a** Marketing Associate** **- Graphics and social media** to join our talented team. The product marketing department at Willowglen Systems is responsible for market research, communicating the organization’s products and lines of business to internal and external stakeholders insuring brand consistency through all marketing channels. In this role you will collaborate extensively with the rest of the product marketing team as well as other departments when required to conceptualize and create all marketing collateral to be distributed across various channels including social media.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on ideas for new marketing collateral and improvements to existing materials.
- Content creation including graphics, videos, infographics, etc.
- Collaborate with internal customers on producing required materials.
- Social Media Strategy: involved in developing social media strategies and campaigns in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team.
- Social Media analytics: responsible for tracking key metrics and providing insights based on the data.
- Social Media Trends: monitor relevant trends, features, and updates on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok. Review platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends that are relevant to our audience and industries. Adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
- Hashtag Research and Optimization: Conduct in-depth hashtag research to identify relevant and trending hashtags across platforms. Utilize appropriate hashtags to increase content discoverability and expand the reach of social media posts.
- Assist the rest of the Marketing Team in other tasks as required.

**Required Qualifications**
- Formal Graphic Design training - diploma, degree, and certificates are all acceptable.
- Advanced skills in the Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
- 6 months of industry experience (this could include internships).
- Ability to learn to use new software and tools.
- Enjoys collaboration and can give and take design critique - this role is incredibly collaborative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

**Nice to have**
- Experience working with print shops and getting materials printed.
- Web design in WordPress
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and bug fixing in WordPress
