**Flaman Fitness **has an exciting opportunity for you We currently have an opening for a talented, creative, and ambitious **Marketing Associate** to join our dynamic team This is an entry level position consisting of working onsite _**30 hours per week, Monday - Friday,**_ and is based out of our **Yellowhead location** in **Edmonton, Alberta.**

**Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Foster strong working relationships to effectively achieve shared goals
- Collaborate with the marketing team on developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns
- Prioritize tasks and/or projects for completion within designated deadlines
- Content creation & management (social media posts, blog content, website copy, product descriptions)
- Data analysis and reporting (monitor/analyze key marketing metrics and performance indicators)
- Identify areas of improvement
- Conduct market research (competitor analysis, identify trends, customer preferences etc)
- Remain updated on product knowledge and industry developments
- Provide recommendations for marketing strategies based on market insights
- Assist with maintaining consistent brand messaging and visual identity
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, marketing and customer service representatives, to gather input and align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Proactive problem solving and trouble shooting
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and protocols
- Bring your imagination and positivity to work

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Recognize the importance of establishing a connection with our customer base, catering to target markets
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2+ years experience working in a similar marketing role (preferably e-commerce)
- Familiar with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (an asset)
- Experience with image/video editing and basic coding (HTML & CSS)
- SEO writing (an asset)
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Professional, team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Exceptional work ethic, motivated and driven to obtain goals
- Familiarity with fitness equipment and/or a strong interest in Fitness and Healthy Living (an asset)
- Have a great sense of humor
