**Job Description**:
AECOM is currently seeking a Transportation Planner/Modeller to join our Transportation Planning Team.

We are looking for a passionate professional who is seeking opportunities to deliver technical excellence in existing and new business delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Preparing and contributing to transportation studies

+ Analyzing transportation data and conducting/ assisting in traffic and transit analysis

+ Attending and participating in client and public meetings

+ Developing and managing content for presentations, reports, and proposals

+ Researching industry standard / best practices

+ Participating in site visits and field work

+ Writing and editing technical reports

+ Working with a team of transportation/traffic engineers, planners, and designers to assess transportation, traffic, and parking conditions

+ Attending project team meetings, as needed

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor degree in civil engineering, planning, math, or computer science

+ At least 2 years of experience in transportation planning

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience with at least one of the following software packages: EMME, TransCAD, VISUM, VISSIM, Aimsun, Synchro/Simtraffic

+ Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, VBA, Java, C/C++ Proficient with Microsoft Office

+ Excellent communication, presentation and analysis skills

+ Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

+ More than five years of experience in transportation modelling

+ Experience with SQL, Git and GitHub

+ Experience with EMME macro language

+ Experience with activity-based models
