**Job Description**:
AECOM is searching for a Project Manager, Testing and Commissioning to be based in our Markham office. This role will require site visits and 2 days per week at the client’s office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Review, audit and manage the Testing and Commissioning (T&C) process
- Ensure all T&C processes are being performed and developed as per the requirements of PA and as per acceptable industry standard
- Serves as technical specialist on T&C related activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to help elicit validation requirements, decompose those requirements into functional and non-functional testable statements, validate requirements with the internal and external teams
- Manage verification of design evidences and validation through acceptance of testing evidences
- Manages activities involving effective coordination and liaison with Technical Advisor, RT Ops, other designers, contractors and third parties involved in commissioning activities
- Support senior management and participate in T&C related working groups and meetings on behalf of systems team
- Monitor and measure progress of T&C activities and propose corrective action to facilitate decision making process
- Liaise with other entities to manage reliability, maintainability, and safety and security project requirements
- Defines the need for concept, preliminary or detail design alternatives and new or improved procedures, design standards, specifications, or project agreement
- Provides administrative, design, editing, technical, estimating, and priority direction to staff and personnel assigned to individual projects, through all project stages
- Coordinates a number of complex tasks under pressure to meet schedule and budget commitments

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum requirements**:

- Completion of a degree in engineering, or related field or a combination of relevant education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
- 4+ years experience in requirement management and system assurance aspects of rail and transit projects

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 8+ years’ experience in requirement management and system assurance aspects of rail and transit projects
- Detailed knowledge of T&C in LRT is an important asset
- Ability to review drawings, engineering reports, design proposals, specifications
- Knowledge of DBB construction contracts with demonstrated experience of delivering transit infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated project management and time management skills.
- Excellent oral, written/presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a large, matrix team environment.
- PMP certification is strongly desired.
- Project management experience to manage assigned projects of high value and complexity and supervise staff engaged in all stages of project management from start to close-out
- Experience on rail and transit projects is an asset
