Here's how a(n) Insurance Coordinator for our Montreal office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:
- Administer our risk insurance program called Subcontract Default Insurance (SDI)
- Review, evaluate, prepare reports on financial assessment, and approve qualification submissions from subcontractors
- Assist in developing project-specific risk mitigation plans as applicable
- Assist in subcontractor outreach and meet with them as needed
- Prepare reports on prequalification status, subcontractor utilization, and others as required
- Administer insurance claims and coordinate with the project teams in compiling and submitting insurance claims
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in an office environment
- College degree in accounting, an asset
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Team player with effective interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
- Exposure to financial statements is considered an asset
