**Key Objectives**:
We are seeking a Property Claim Supervisor to join our Canadian Property team, to supervise a team of desk adjusters primarily handling personal lines and commercial lines claims across the country.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Ability to oversee and drive actions to recognize exposure and provide direction and oversight to direct reports to investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims
- Experience in performance management, salary administration, training, staff development, and succession planning is a strong plus
- Must be an articulate communicator who is interested in helping others achieve corporate and personal objectives
- A strong knowledge of Chubb's systems, procedures, claims handling philosophy and claims handling requirements/protocols are necessary
- Full knowledge of personal and commercial insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements, and insurance regulations
- Effectively evaluate contract language and identify coverage issues
- Recognize and pursue recovery.
- Adhere to all statutory and regulatory fair claims practices
- A minimum of 5 years property claims handling experience is required.
- Prior Supervisory and/or Management experience with direct oversight of direct reports handling property claims is an asset.
- Experience managing both in office and remote staff is desirable. Education level with a degree or equivalent work experience is required.
