Resident Services Coordinator, Rpn

The **Resident Services Coordinator** will oversee the seamless transition for new residents moving into our home. This role includes providing essential training for the staff and managing the hiring and onboarding processes for all nursing department personnel.
**Background/Qualifications**:
- Licensed Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience as an RPN preferred
- Experience in Long Term Care is an asset
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of the Long-Term Care Homes Act (LTCHA)
- Ability to assist residents and their families with empathy and respect for confidentiality, communicating courteously
- Strong diplomacy skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management
- Highly resourceful, flexible, and adaptable
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Politically and culturally sensitive
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify underlying principles and facts
- Strong moral and ethical standards, with a commitment to privacy
