**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years of experience working as a Helpdesk Technician
- Certificate/Diploma in IT related area of study is an asset
- A passion for technology and solving technical issues
- Experience with installation, maintenance and upgrade of hardware, software, and peripherals
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
- Helpful if you have experience with engineering software, license management, and Meraki firewalls

**DUTIES**
- Monitor, triage, and respond quickly to incoming IT issues and requests
- Ensure all requests are logged and tracked in ticket management system
- Provide technical support over the phone, in person, and via remote support apps
- Build and deploy new client desktops and laptops in-house and remotely
- Facilitate onboarding sessions with new employees
- Provide support for meeting room equipment
- Help maintain and update the companies IT asset list for hardware and software
- Write knowledge base articles and guides for employee service desk portal
- Keep system documentation current
- Build and adjust automations and workflows to improve ticket management system
- Work with third-party support for warranty or software-related requests
- Monitor the Remote Management & Monitoring (RMM) suite for alerts or alarms that require troubleshooting
- Assist IT Administrator with planning, implementation, maintenance, and documentation related to network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain IT support related documentation including user help documentation, troubleshooting processes and installation instructions
- Provide coverage for IT Administrator
