**About the Role**
- Embrace and support BME Mining Canada’s visions and values
- Proficiency in blast monitoring techniques
- Support customers’ needs, input on blast designs if required and provide operations technical assistance with drill and blast techniques
- Internal and External training on Electronic Initiation Control Equipment
- Must be able to build and maintain good internal and external customer relationships
- Must be willing to perform any physical work in the field related to the usage of the monitoring and loading equipment
- Ability to follow through on projects in a safe and timely manner
- Assist in product trialing, Electronic Initiation, Bulk Loading
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 2+ year’s experience as a mining engineer, mining sales, or related underground experience, including experience with the technical, business, and operations aspects of the mining or explosive industry
- Underground Hard Rock Common Core considered an asset
- Previous underground experience preferred
- Strong safety background
- Strong people management and relationship building background
- Ability to travel to remote customer sites as needed
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as the drive to excel as an individual
- Bilingualism considered an asset
- Previous experience in Production Loading or Open Pit blasting
