**Branch Sales Manager**
Fastek is hiring a working Branch Manager in our **Barrie **location. You will be responsible for the overall operations, leadership, sales, warehousing, inventory and service in the location. You will provide direction, training and coaching to all branch staff.Having a good mix of technical knowledge of construction tools and fasteners and strong customer service/ sales skills is important for this role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Overall branch operations, leadership, sales, warehousing, inventory
- Offer superior sales and service to our customers in residential and commercial markets
- Maintain relationships with various product reps.
- Help with merchandizing, organizing, and maintaining showroom and the warehouse
- Develop new customers and follow up on sales leads, working with the sales team
- Work to achieve and exceed sales goals and bottom-line profit
- Establish short and long-term branch goals
- Work with the purchasing team to optimize inventory levels and reduce slow moving inventory
- Assist credit with overdue accounts receivables
- Resolve customer complaints as needed
- Ensure accuracy in data input orders / purchasing cycle counts and other requirements as needed
- You will ensure compliance from all employees with all health & safety policies, procedures and regulations
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- A broad knowledge of construction tools and fasteners
- Demonstrated ability to manage and show initiative
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing with coworkers and customers
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Diploma or degree in business or equivalent experience is an asset
- Outstanding customer service acumen
- A proven record of achieving revenue targets
- A strong communicator, problem-solver and leader
- Organizational and excellent interpersonal skills are a must
- Construction, industrial and commercial, industry knowledge an asset
- Mechanical and/ or technical sales
- Required license or certification: Driver's License and Clean Drives Abstract
- Lift truck license an asset
