**Job Summary**:
The primary responsibility of the Receiver will cover all daily operations of the receiving department. These duties will include ensuring material is received and picked for manufacturing and will also work closely with the purchasing department in coordinating information on low parts levels, shortages, damages, etc. The use of the ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy and expected deliveries to ensure production has the appropriate parts in a timely manner.

**Duties involved with this position include**:

- Match packing slips with PO’s and receive into ERP system
- Put away incoming raw materials and maintain accurate inventory locations data
- Ensure proper identification of all incoming material
- Create and maintain necessary receiving records and logs
- Maintain a clean receiving area and consolidate inventory as needed to maximize useable inventory space
- Pick parts for all jobs as required by manufacturing
- Maintain picklist record and expedite missing parts with purchasing
- Assist Inventory Control Specialist with cycle counting
- Assist with annual inventory count preparations
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
- Identify and communicate problems and provide input for solutions following Quality policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned

**Experience**:

- 3-4 years’ experience in a related position
- Certified to operate a forklift
- Initiative, responsibility and creativity
- Effective organization and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to work independently as well with a team
- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Computer skills including the ability to create spreadsheets and word processing documents

**Knowledge**:

- Experience with Word, Excel, and ERP systems (Epicor an asset)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

**Experience**:

- Receiving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
