Toronto, Canada Environics Analytics Full time

**Role O**bjective**:
**Specific Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of vast data repositories.
- Design and implement innovative data products, leveraging diverse data sources.
- Engineer, test, and refine machine learning models to enhance predictive accuracy and reliability.
- Craft compelling visualizations to uncover and communicate data trends.
- Establish rigorous quality control checks for product integrity.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education** - Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.

**Experience** - A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficient in exploratory data analysis using Python and SQL.
- Skilled in developing machine learning models, with proficiency in scikit-learn or PySpark preferred.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis.
- Competent in programming with Python and SQL.
- Prior experience with Census, survey, and varied data sources will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks or other cloud platforms will be considered an asset.
- Understanding frameworks such as DBT will be considered an asset.

**Analytical Skills** - Aptitude for problem solving and a desire to continuously improve.
