Occupant safety systems rely on active sensors and microprocessors to trigger pre-crash and in-crash occupant protection (such as tightening safety belts and deploy airbags) when it judges a collision is inevitable. Critical crash information is sent over e-call to emergency services and recorded for post-crash analysis.

**What you'll do**
- Lead the team that supports demand planning, raw material forecasting, supplier release management, and logistic operations.
- Drive proactive supplier management to ensure high level of delivery performance while minimizing freight costs.
- Execute engineering changes that minimize obsolescence expenses.
- Provide leadership in the continuous improvement of the plant’s material flow processes through optimization of existing processes, adapting to new material flow requirements, and by seeking new solutions or technologies that will support the plant’s needs.
- Manage and support improvement actions for key performance indicators related to inventory, freight, supplier performance, and material downtime.
- Promote, guide, and support the planning team in delivering team-based. workshops and new ideas through the plant’s internal suggestion program.

**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ of experience in the automotive/electronics industry.
- Proven ability to build and lead a fast-paced and high functioning team.
- Strong industry knowledge of materials management and lean manufacturing best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to grasp and understand complex business processes from a high level while being able to validate the processes at the detail level
- Understanding of or experience in defining information technology requirements.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint, Crystal Reports, and PowerBI helpful.
