**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**: This is a full-time Administrative position (37.5 hours per week).**Duties**: Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives and Business Development, the incumbent is accountable for identifying, developing, marketing, staffing and evaluating academic consultancy, learning services and solutions opportunities offered by Fanshawe Global Corporation (FG). The Manager provides the leadership to staff responsible for planning, development, delivery and ongoing review of international market-based learning services. The Manager is responsible for initiating and supporting new business ventures including strategic alliances and partnerships to position the College as a leading provider of learning services to customers. The Manager is accountable for the administration of international partnerships and projects.**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Responsible for full scope of delivery of international contracts (global and domestic), such as costing, project plans, human resources, reporting, budgeting, and trip planning
- Ensures the effective operations by evaluating the level of services provided to clients, ensuring that those services meet our high standards of quality and customer service
- Ensures operations of global contracts align with the College strategic goals and priorities
- Reviews, evaluates and enhances global services and products within allocated resources
- Leads project teams in establishing curriculum, evaluation criteria and delivery strategies for respective offerings
- Accountable for partnership development and Ministry consultation on the delivery of contracts
- Ensure contract deliverables meet the needs of clients and fulfills the global strategy
- Liaises with partners to establish annual allocations, work plans, and budgets for ongoing contracts and special projects
- Collaborates with various academic and services areas to develop processes that support international projects

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Business, Education, International Relations or a relevant field
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Education is an asset
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a post-secondary educational environment with an excellent understanding of international education and project work
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience in an academic environment and a proven successful track record in leading and coordinating international projects and partnerships
- Facilitative leadership style with exceptional planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Operational management experience supported with teambuilding skills; demonstrated business development skills combined with a good understanding of new trends in international education and project development
- Excellent relationship building, networking and communication skills
- Experience in teaching and/or curriculum design is an asset supported with a good understanding of new modes of delivering education
- Ability to create new, innovative offerings and proposals for global partners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Excellent computer and public relation skills
- Must be fluent (oral and written) in second language (Fluency in Spanish - speaking, reading, and writing - fluency in Portuguese and French is an asset)
- Extensive understanding of the Ontario college system
- Intercultural competence skills
- Excellent research, data collection and data analysis skills (e.g. international markets)
- Exceptional, demonstrable international proposal writing and reporting skills
- Ability to travel (domestic and international)
