Swamp Cats Ltd. is currently looking for an experienced Civil Project Controls/Project Management Specialist for a camp based project in North East Alberta with immediate start.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- **Project Planning and Execution**:Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- **Project Controls**: Implement project control processes and systems to manage project cost, schedules, and performance. Ensure project milestones are met and adapting project plans as necessary.
- **Budget Management**: Monitor project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting future costs, and ensuring that the project is completed within the financial guidelines.
- **Quality Assurance**:Oversee all aspects of project quality control, ensuring compliance with client, as well as legal and contractual obligations.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and encouraging innovation.

**Skills and Qualifications Required**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and project controls within civil/earthworks.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and safety practices
- General survey knowledge
- The ability to read and understand blueprints, and city specifications
- General knowledge of proper equipment operation

Workers must be able to provide a clean Drug & Alcohol Test and currently hold the required training tickets for these projects which include:

- Leadership for Safety Excellence

- First Aid with CPR
- Level 2 Ground Disturbance (Must be training endorsed by ABCGA)
- CSTS 2020

**About Us**
Swamp Cats Limited operates from 2 facilities on over 26 acres of land in Lac La Biche, Alberta. Our 20-Acre facility, is serviced by our heavy duty mechanics and maintenance team and is home to our sixteen thousand square foot equipment maintenance & repair shop and seventy five hundred square foot welding shop. Our dedicated team, large equipment inventory and extensive facilities allow us to complete any project big or small.

With a dedicated equipment maintenance team and a constantly growing inventory of over 500 pieces of Heavy Equipment we have the iron to get the job done. Swamp Cats Ltd. has a large inventory of GPS fitted heavy equipment in Alberta, allowing us to be smarter, faster and more accurate, bringing the office and the machine together for increased efficiency.

Since 2008 Swamp Cats Limited has successfully completed over five hundred million dollars in contracts within Alberta. We currently work with many of the leading Oil and Gas producers in Canada including: Cenovus Energy, TransCanada, Athabasca Oil Corporation and Meg Energy.
