Project Controls Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the _**Manager, Contractor Services Farm & Ranch Structures**_, the **Project Controls Coordinator - Structures **is responsible for the site management and contractors for UFA Structures Projects. This position will act as a support contact with customers for the purpose of ensuring quality, budget and schedule are achieved.
This is a home office field-based position.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:
- Main point of contact onsite for project activities including, project kick off and close out meetings, prestart site inspections and progress inspections.
- Provide real time daily support to UFA contractors and Project Management Teams.
- Assist in reviewing project requirements and materials, within the budget and schedule, with Building Project Representative.
- Site representation for UFA by assisting in managing subtrades - daily schedules, quality control.
- Facilitate engineering and permit inspections as required.
- Be the secondary contact for customer warranty issues - evaluation & resolution.
- Responsible to read, understand, and comply with UFA's Health, Safety, Environment Policies, Safe Work Practices, and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
**Qualifications required for the position**:
- Minimum high school diploma required, post-secondary education in buildings related field an asset.
- Minimum 3 years prior construction management or Project Controller experience is required.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with Microsoft Projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read construction/installation drawings required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Valid Class 5 license required.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Is a safety sensitive position as will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
