**Company**:Landscapers By Nature Ltd. (LBN) is an established leader in the landscape maintenance and snow removal market in Calgary. We specialize in offering large condominium complexes professional grounds maintenance services.

**Should you accept the challenge, this role will involve**:
You will be introduced to a team of landscape professionals, and placed on a 3 person lawn crew operating commercial lawn equipment, or a 3 person enhancement crew responsible for light construction projects at the condo complexes we take care of. We take performance and efficiency seriously; you will have goals to hit with your team and we will help you develop your skills to crush them. You’ll be expected to contribute to your team with a positive attitude, the drive to push through tough days, and a focus on continually improving your skill set.

This is an introductory role in landscaping, and will lead to a rewarding career in the green industry. Promotions tend to happen quickly for the right person.

**What about the winter?**: We offer year round employment, and the winter pay is guaranteed, it’s also on call 7 days per week - including holidays. It’s a sweet gig for the right person. Ask for more info in the interview, or if you have any deal breakers regarding this, reach out and ask us. Oh, and it’s all day work

**Some of your day-to-day tasks will include**:

- Arriving awake, aware, and ready for work. _Not ready to catch up on sleep in the passenger seat._
- Preparing your crews truck and equipment for the day/week, and gaining an understanding from your crew leader of the work today/this week.
- Contributing each day to complete high quality work, and focusing on beating the budgeted time on each job as a team.
- Contributing to our work environment in a positive way, and actively working to improve.
- Operating equipment safely, and ensuring maintenance is kept up. We have a shop foreman to help with repairs.
- Working in all weather conditions Mother Nature can throw at us, with a smile If you’re scared of the rain, buy an umbrella

**Applicants must have/be**:

- Comfortable with long hours outdoors and unpredictable schedules. 7 days/wk availability for work in winter.

- Driven to grow and learn within the industry and our company.
- Experience in our industry or any outdoor trade is an asset.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

**Position Type & Schedule**:Full time with seasonal fluctuations - expect to be busier during spring/fall season changes, and slightly less in the middle of summer and winter. Early morning M-F, Saturdays for catch up when needed.
