**About the Job**:
**Landscaper / Tree Crew. **We are looking for a responsible, great work ethic, committed person who is able to work in the landscaping industry ( specifically Hardscaping ) type of jobs. We need a person who can dedicate themselves for the season. You will be assisting with landscaping**, **construction, tree/shrub planting, grading, landscape, sod, mulching, brick edge, irrigation but not limited to.

**Details**:

- Assist with landscaping, construction, tree/shrub planting, grading, landscape, sod, mulching, brick edge, irrigation but not limited to.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
- Prep/ Install sod, mulch and edging.
- Plant shrubs, and trees.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
- Other general labour tasks as required or assigned.
- Be able to commit to season and show up to work each day.
- Clean up around job site; move logs and wood around
- Learning and understanding all safety policies and laying out a safe work zone.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to push, pull and lift heavy weight.
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew members.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Operate and maintain equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player, resolve work related problems.
- You want to grow and learn; how to use equipment; be able to use it and take care of it.

**Pay**:

- Wage $18.00 - $22.00/hour
- **Wage will be negotiated based upon experience**

**Requirements**:

- CSA Approved Steel-toed boots.
- Must be willing to **work 8 - 10** hour days in season ( Monday to Friday)
- Must have reliable transportation to yard site each morning, as there is no transit.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience or other experience that is relevant
- Would prefer experience using equipment with hardscaping or willing to learn
- Experience in landscaping, horticultural, forestry, arbor culture
- Landscape construction experience would be preferred but willing to learn

**Physical Capabilities**:

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs more, physically demanding requiring walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time, working long hours.
- Attention to detail, work under pressure and working in all the different conditions regarding the weather.

**Essential Skills**:

- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Customer focused based
- Multi-tasking and attention to details.
- Initiative, positive attitude, and motivated

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
